Regarding DLI Change prior to new rules.

This was before the new rules which came into effect in nov 24. She started in MAY 24

This rule was introduced earlier and was already in place for all of 2024. It applies to your wife and she is studying without authorization at her new school.

Hello, Unfortunately i truly wasnt aware however that is not an excuse. Would yo recommend a trusted immigration lawyer if you know any please ? As we were already wrongly guided by a few in the past

Sorry don’t have any recommendations. The law firm who supports this forum may be a good place to start. I would suggest getting a few opinions and also compare costs. Sadly some exploit people’s vulnerabilities and charge a small fortune for minimal work.

Would also suggest talking to the school but IBU is essentially a degree mill so don’t have a lot of faith they will actually have someone with experience and knowledge.
