I am citizen. You asked about certification and that certification does not count. What is your CRS score? Are PNPs an option? Are you in Canada and if so what is your job?

I have applied in CEC and yes I am in canada, I have background of Environmental Engineering and working as Geological technician. My score is 511 after i included the OWWCO certificate.

I got ITA in September 2022, and AOR in October.

it is very confusing reading all the info. My Noc code is 22100, in my job responsibilities it says we do water sampling and testing. So i think it’s good from our side. Can we proceed and say yes in the file. Please advise

My brother's PR application just got refused due to certificate of qualification. He had an Operator-in-training certificate of drinking and wastewater management governed by the following regulations and act.

• Certification of Drinking Water System Operators and Water Quality Analysts, Ontario Regulation 128/04 of the Safe Drinking Water Act
• Licensing of Sewage Works Operators, Ontario Regulation 129/04 of the Ontario Water Resources Act
• The Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA)
• The Ontario Water Resources Act (OWRA)
• Drinking Water Systems Regulation, Ontario Regulation 170/03 of the Safe Drinking Water Act

On his certificate, it clearly states that it is a certificate of qualification for wastewater operators under drinking and wastewater management. Personally,I gave that exam and got my application approved without any query or problem. The officer who reviewed his application found the wastewater certificate ineligible under the Ontario's certificate of qualification.
We are thinking to appeal regarding it but are not sure how exactly to prove them.
Did anyone have similar experience in the past ?
if so please share it because my brother's work permit is expiring soon.
Without the certificate his score with two year experience is 445.

Hi guys,

I am in same situation, I have environmental technician 2 year dioloma and have full time job as a waste water treatment operator and OIT in wastewater collection and treatment so I want to put EE profile under class CEC can I get 50 points for having an OIT ?

I have worked as waste water operator also and have OIT, can I claim points ?

Thanks for the reply. the certificate which i hold clearly states that under Ontario Regulation 128/04 i have met the requirements and there is letter from ministry stating that i am qualified to receive the certificate.
