Hi
Well my question is about the refund of pressing fee, here are some scenarios
• If my application gets rejected / refused or denied then will there be refund
• If you apply and your application is not entertained due to the fact that the category you are applying in has been reached then will there be any refund
• Under which scenarios pressing fee gets refunded
I have been surfing but could found much relevant on CIC site especially “Government of Canada’s Jobs, Growth and Long-Term Prosperity Act.”
Kindly provide authentic reference about my query if possible then of CIC official website
Thanks
The application guide contains a lot of useful information.
If your application is:
- incomplete or;
- the allowable cap limit has been reached,
your entire package (including your payment) will be returned to you with a letter explaining why it is being returned.
If your application is not eligible for processing, you will be sent a letter that:
explains the reason(s) why your application is not eligible for processing, and
confirms that a refund for the processing fee will be issued.

My application was refused. Can I get a refund from CIC?
No. Once we have begun to process an application, the fees are not refundable.
