To return to canada only a valid Canadian refugee travel document is needed. you wouldn't be able to get an RTD if you haven't represented passport canada with notice of decision.
Also you're no longer of that country that has a travel ban issued.
I'm from a travel ban country, but I was born in the UK. My RTD will show born in: UK, and not mention my home country thankfully, hopefully the consular officer doesn't go to deep into where i'm from.

Really appreciate your answers. And I have another questions as follows :
1. Do you know if the person crossed the US \ Canada border will get a chance for this visa?
2. Do I need a prove of my working and bank statement as well?
Unfortunately, even though canada asked the US to take it easy on people that cross the borders illegally; the officer will check your I-94 and see your entries/exits in the US. If they don't match up, usually no visa.
I am applying for a refugee travel document and I haven't known a guarantor for 6 months. If I use the statutory declaration in place of a guarantor form will it take longer for it to be processed?
Please anyone who has the same experience should reply soon.
Thanks
I didn't not know any guarantor too but I used the statutory declaration and my refugee travel document came out a month later ,hope this answer your question .
Hello there can somebody letme knw whether for RTD application we need to submit the notice of seizure for my country passport?? Is it mandatory to submit along with the application or can it be skipped??
it good to submit the notice of seizure of passport or the photocopy that was given to you when your passport was taken from you so it does not delay the process , I submitted the certified photocopy of my passport and my refugee passport came out 1month later .

Banned countries receive US visas when using Canadian RTD's. I know many Yemenis, and libyans that received them.
But they entered Canada with a visa, and left the US legally.
When an individual crosses from the US to canada he/she is breaking regulation and immigration acts of the US. I believe there is a period of 5-10 years before they are allowed to receive visas if they crossed borders in such manner.
Options are to go to an interview anyway, and perhaps on that day the US consulate is kind, but very low chance, or wait till citizenship i'm afraid/
