Hi Guys ,
I submitted the application for TD to Gatineau office 200 Promenade as requested but the courier delivered it to 70 cremazie Gatineau passport office and I had been told that all packages should be delivered to this address and the transfer should be done internally . I am calling CIC every day to check if they received it or not but nothing yet and some agents said it is wrong address and you have to reapply ,others said you did the right and nothing to worry and it a matter of time , the original PR in the package , is someone had the same problem before , it is more than 11 days now !! Thanks

Likely it will get sorted out in the internal mail. Give it a couple days. Calling daily is excessive. They do have to receive and process the applications. They will also have to transfer your mail to the other department if they dropped it off at the wrong place. What you can do is phone the courier company and ask for a refund if they dropped at the wrong place. And please enough with the bros. Women and men interact on this forum.

Ihave come across in this thread that for RTD we need to prove that we dont have any our home country passport, so in my case the notice of seizure is to be sent, but ilost that notice in my bag few months back , could some body letme knw how can i get the notice?? Shall I request cbsa to provide a. Copy of that??

Hey guys,

I’m thinking of going to Turkey for holidays, but it seems that they require that i apply for visa, did anyone here have an experience with the turkish consulat or their visa process? Also does anyone have a list of countries where i can go without a visa? Nationality is Moroccan and i hold a 1951 blue canadian travel document.

The number you have given is CIC call center, but I thought I should call Ottawa passport office. Any idea?

People who work in customer service are often not paid well and there is likely quite a lot of turnover. Multiple hotlines at the government give out incorrect information. Always try to do the research yourself or get things in writing.

I am applying for a refugee travel document and I haven't known a guarantor for 6 months. If I use the statutory declaration in place of a guarantor form will it take longer for it to be processed?

I did apply my RTD on 27 th of April 2019 and they Received it on 30-04-2019 but I did not get any Acknowledgement letter or mail ,
After 19 days every thing will be ok ?
I know the processing time is 22 business days .

Processing times are always estimates. There is no confirmation of receipt of application for any travel document.
