Hi guys, If I send my application for RTD renewal with the cops letter and NOD how many years will they give me? I don't want to wait for the PR card.

I think it's 2 years or 3. With my own understanding you can only get 5 years when you get your PR.

Yes that’s what I’m saying that after PR we will get for 5 years

If you do not have PR you will get 2 years valid RTD.

@Mano1110786 first you need to contact them by web form with a valid reason for urgent travel. If the officer finds your reason accaptable, they will forward your case to urgent processing. Someone from that department will contact you and will give you instructions.

No it doesn’t change anything. You are PR

i need to go to australia in june
so my question is can i travel outside canada with just rtd and notice of decesion?

my situation is very similar to yours. My refugee claim was accepted in January 2019 and I applied for the PR in February, did you receive you PR yet?

Yes, you can apply visit visa at RTD.

Hello, I didn't read anywhere about sending a prepaid envelope. Kindly write where did you read about it?

Meanwhile try to book appointment for visa at pakistan consulate if you live in Toronto as I checked last week and there was no appointment available till mid november. Just to make sure have a prior appointment.

Is there any list of countries we could visit with a RTD without Visa?

Best way is to check but as per my personal research I found out Germany ofcourse , Hungary , Slovakia , Slovenia and Italy don’t need a visa from RTD holders. For Itsly I was advised to take a letter feom
Consulate for the visa free confirmation before traveling. Germany I travelled myself no issue.

Hey All,, has anyone received RTD these days ? I have applied on 29 September and no news up till now
