Im refugee claimant and my family is in Saudi Arabia.

Is there any problem if they transfer money to my bank account ?

It's around 15000 cad

Because i heard that it's better that refugee claimant to not have high amount of money in their bank accounts .

It's direct transfer from Saudi bank to Canadian bank.

If you are currently claiming welfare or any form of financial assistance from the Canadian government, you need to declare this money you will receive. People who can support themselves don't get taxpayer money.

It's ok as long as you don't get social assistance " welfare"
I have family overseas and I get money from them but I'm not under welfare.
