I'm a Mexican who applied for a refugee claim, the claim was refused yesterday. Now I know I can appeal then apply for PRRA and/or Humanitarian and compassion. The tricky part is that my Canadian girlfriend is expecting my child,I am still married back in Mexico but want to divorce,If eveything else fails we are considering getting married (need to divorce before) so she can sponsor me.
Now this is her situation, she lost her job, was on empolyment insurance and now has no choice but to be on social assistance for the rest of her pregnancy. So far I know that people on social assistance can't sponsor but can immigration take into consideration that she will be nursing and taking care of our new born baby?
What are my best options? Above anything else, she and my baby are my priorities. Any advice? In what area should I focus?
