RECONSIDERATION REQUEST.

My husband is a divorcee and has a deceased dependent and the child was stated on the divorce paper but not on the application because I thought there was no reason to add him to the application since he’s no more.

The issue now is that the visa officer picked it and rejected our PR application. When I called them, an agent said a reconsideration request has been sent but I heard it hardly works and we should open another express entry profile since my Ontario nomination won’t expire until January 2023 but I need to write another ielts cos the old one has expired this month also.

Please ask your followers to advise cos I’m so devastated. Will the reconsideration be accepted? How long does it take? Or should I just go ahead and open another EE profile? Is there another option especially since our fund has been refunded. I have forwarded over 30 requests since over the weekend stating the reason I didn’t add the child along with his birth and death certificate.

It's possible IRCC may reconsider your application. It's impossible for any of us to guess but certainly worth a try.

I would recommend you re-write IELTS in case the reconsideration request is not considered.

Do not send any more requests to IRCC. 30 is already far far too many.

Would suggest contacting your MP if you are in Canada. Only one email or phone message and then wait for a reply.
