However, honestly my life has been changed upside down by ielts for the past one year. Should I give up on my dream of immigration? This dream is so costly and not healthy for my personal life.
Sorry to hear about your case. I used to be in the same situation, 6 times for academic and 6 times for GT before i could reach the desired score.
are the above your highest scores among your 10 attempts? Would you consider registering for BC ielts preparation course so that they can help you with your areas for improvements?

Hello. Below are my IELTS attempts. Only focusing on my writing got me a 7 finally but at the cost of my LRS. Has anyone faced such an issue? Should I go for a remark, cause I don't feel I fared any different in my latest attempt as compared to earlier one's. Already registered for my 6th attempt, IDP this time.
BC Paper- lrws 9/7.5/6.5/7
BC Paper lrws 8.5/8.5/6.5/7

BC CD - lrws 8.5/9/6.5/7.5 BC CD - lrws 8/7.5/7/6.5

You should definitely go for EOR. A 0.5 band increase in speaking is fairly common and your past records suggest that you have a good chance to get that required point increase. Can you tell me how you improved your writing? I am stuck at 6.5 in writing as well.
L 8.5
R 9
W 7
S 8
Overall band 8
Academic IELTS on 17th August, India.
Gutted for the writing score. Could have scored better if I had managed my time, effectively.

So I focused on the Coherence and Cohesion (Connecting sentences and one idea per body paragraph) marking criteria. Just followed IELTSLiz videos and website. She keeps it simple. Hopefully I am again able to score a 7 or above.
