I have another question! I am living in Quebec with my husband from Uganda. We applied for spouse sponsorship March 30, 2024. We now have AOR, we want to apply for Open work permit. When I tried to do the online application through the GCkey account, they ask me questions, and because I mentioned we live in Quebec, they say I need to apply in Quebec first ??? How Can I apply for open work permit now ?? When I called immigration in Quebec, they told me to apply in Canada.... I am confused now?

Is your husband in Canada now? The OWP option is only for sponsored PA to apply if they are inside Canada with valid status (visitor , study permit, foreign worker...etc).
If he is inside Canada with valid status, he can apply for OWP using the link the other member provided. I am not sure about specific instruction for Quebec applicants.

Yes I used the link from the other member. I had a document checklist. Even filled the form. But now I don’t understand where to upload the form and lay the fees, when I login to gckey. That’s the confusing part.

It's normal. If you got MR, it means you got the permanent file number starting with F. The whole reason why getting AOR is the first major step is that you get the permanent file number. Now you have it in the MR letter so AOR is no longer a concern for you.
