Received PR confirmation mail on vacation outside Canada

I received PR confirmation mail today, but currently I am outside Canada on vacation. I am planning to return in 2 weeks time. How much time does I have to respond to confirmation mail? Can I respond after returning to Canada?

There should be written at the bottom what to do in case you are outside Canada. Reply to the email mentioning you are outside and will be back on which date.
