Received PPR but work permit expiring

I have sent my passport on June 3rd and I'm still waiting but my work permit expires on June 23rd. If I receive Confirmation of PR and my passport back with my application approved before June 23rd, should I still be worried about my work permit expiring (I have not applied for bridge work permit yet)

Receiving the COPR and passport doesn't mean anything for status.
You need to either land as a PR or apply to extend your status before June 23rd.

Assuming you're in Canada right now - if you get your CoPR before the 23rd, you should immediately flagpole to complete your landing, and then get a PR SIN. If you can do that before the 23rd, you won't have an issue. If not, you will have to stop working till you complete landing (or if you've applied to extend status, you can keep working).

I would just flagpole. You should have your passport back soon.
