An email from the visa office has been sent and it said that they will send confidential documents to be sent by email that need to be signed digitally. What does it mean? Here is the info, please please please please, does anyone know what this means?!
Dear XXXXXX
This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada.
We require your signature on some confidential documents. The document will be password protected to ensure confidentiality. The password of the documents to be sent to you is XXXXXXX
Please acknowledge you have received this message and I will forward the documents to you.
It sounds like you may have missed a form or maybe there is an updated form and they want to be sure that you don't print the incorrect form. Whatever it is, it doesn't sound bad... just like there's something missing that they want and that Mississauga is letter your visa office deal with it rather than sending it back to you before processing your file. So I think that's a good thing! So email them back so they will send the documents asap!
Print it, read it all, sign it, and then mail it to them with your name, birthday, UCI#, and Application Number. Also, be certain who they want to sign (is it the applicant or the sponsor). Good luck.
Tink32 thank you so much for your reply!! Things are confusing because we are applying from Seoul but, we're in Canada, my partner came back 2 days ago and was told that our paperwork is in Missisauga and then now this. We replied already, but with the time difference we basically have to wait for about 12 hours just wondering. I really appreciate your reply, more than I can put into words

No problem! I'm sure it's nothing bad at all. Please post back once you know what they documents are letting us know if it is, infact, just a missed form from the initial application package.
