Hi. Here’s my timeline. This is my second application since the first one for rejected on August 26th.
Re-applied on Septembre 20th
Biometric on July 15th
Didn’t need medical exam (or they never ask for) since I did 5 years in Canada (came back in June 3th) and haven’t stay in any country over 6months.
My eligibility started on October 16th
Correspondance letter on October 24th
Now I’m stressed because my processing time is over (5 weeks) and I haven’t got any update since and I don’t know what to do.
Anyone in the same boat as me or experienced this please help.
Thank you
correspondence letter is an indication that your approval/refusal is near. Now there are people out there who got their approval/refusal 10 mins after the correspondence letter and some after 24hrs. So hopefully you should get a mail soon
FYI I have seen people receiveing two correspondence letters so dont be suprise if you dont get an update

I have been reading everywhere that the final decision came shortly after the biometric correspondence, however it is not my case!
I have been waiting since October 16th with no updates after receiving my biometric correspondence. Review of Eligibility, Background Check, and Review of Additional Document (A replacement of the proof of financial means) all of them are in processing! Also, my application has exceeded the normal processing time for my country which is 4 weeks, the 4 weeks were over on October 16th, what do you think about my situation?

If the processing time has passed considerably then you should be contacting them via CSE (GOOGLE it). Please take the non working days such as weekends into consideration when counting days passed
