I don't think all of these can go wrong in a single application. Probably might be in a parallel universe; not this one! :-\ ;D

yes it can, if he submitted an empty application!

Points don't get lowered due to age. Your age is frozen on the day you receive an ITA..

If I held two positions within a company but I am only claiming points for one of the roles.. is it adequate to get the reference letter only for that and put the second role in the personal history section ( I have 6 months in a NOC B position and 6 months in a NOC C position which gives me no points anyway so I would like to exclude the NOC C position). Hopefully this wont cause too much confusion with the T4 etc?
This shouldn't be a problem as you only need a reference for the positions you are claiming points for.
I got rejected because a Police Clearance Certificate was missing from a counry I've visited a few times in the past 10 years although I did not spent a cumulative of 6 months in it. The total hardly comes up to 3 months.
I sent them many correspondences on this and still they insist on replying back with a standard template asking me to review the letter again and re-apply through EE if I'm still interested...

Seriously.. after getting all the docs and police certs and WES and medical test done and documents translated etc..
They miscalculated the number of days spent in the country and based on that mistake they rejected the entire application.
#BigFail.

I am very sorry about the refusal. If you didn't spend a total of 6 months in the country
since you were 18 years old (and not just in the past 10 years), you do NOT have to submit a certificate for it upfront (but it might be requested later if the officer sees the need) but there is no way an application can be refused for this.
So, did you spend more than 6 months since age 18 in the country you mentioned earlier?

Good point Raj, but how would they know if you have spent time in a country if it's not mentioned in your travel history?

Because they run database checks to see when you entered and exited countries.

They do background checks

and they are pretty good at it. They will find out even if you don't tell them.
But in this case, I am not sure why the application was rejected or how they knew it at the R10 stage of the application.
I have a few mismatches in dates between my EE profile and my PR application (not yet submitted).
1) In my EE profile i wrote that I started my current role in September 2014 but my work reference letter says October 2014, so in entered October in my PR application.
2)In my EE profile i wrote that I completed my Masters in June 2016, but my certificate say July 2016, so I have written July in my PR application.
Do you think I need to mention these mismatches in LOE? They have no effect on my points.
accessing databases across all countries in the world was something i thought you can only see in movies

Hello everyone.. i will be submitting my eapr in a month..since last 8/9 months i haven't done any official work but i did some freelance work to be exact i designed some projects for a company (which doesnt associate with my NOC code)..i already collected my employers referral letters(for which i have claimed points for). So is this gonna raise any question that i haven't officially worked for almost a year ?
