So if i'm asked if i have applied before do i say yes or no because in the letter I received back with my application it states my application was not received and no record of it was retained.

It's always better to say yes when you are in doubt. In 2014, I applied for PR under CEC, but my application was returned because caps had been reached. I really thought CIC hadn't even opened it, so I answered 'no' to whether I had applied for PR before and it was fine. But on my GCMS notes there was a note that my previous application had been returned due to caps reached, so they did know.

The same happened to me. My app was returned because it got to Sidney Jan 02. I answered No but when I saw the info on, my GCMS notes I almost fainted lol. It doesn't mean we were refused though but like you said, they know everything.

I got my application package back in my mailbox with a cross on the first page and a note that they cannot process the file due the CEC cap limit. I remember that if I chose Yes to the question I had to mention the file number which I have never been given. So I was under the impression since I have not received an AOR or any file number, so they did not keep any track of it. Should I send a CSE?

Guys, is there a spreadsheet that keeps track of rejections, and reasons for rejections? I thought I saw a spreadsheet or a list like 4 or 5 months ago but can't remember which thread it was in.
I'm promoting this myself to keep track of all the reasons in one location for increased efficiency. Instead of the reasons being randomly distributed in this thread.

Please relax. Many people were requested of Schedule A. That does not indicate a rejection. Sit tight and wait it out. Your AOR is in April..you are seeing the end of the wait. It wont be long from now. Good luck and have confidence!
