Sorry for your refusal Feejay. I just don't get it, why doesn't CIC call the employer or invite you for an interview instead of rejecting the application like this.

Tell them it is an upfront medicals for Express Entry - Permanent Residency purposes. Most likely, they would assess the PA under Non EDE - Worker and the rest of the applicants under EDE - Family class.

Asivad, the hospital I went to put me (PA) and my spouse and dependent infant all in the same Non-EDE, Worker category. And they say very confidently that this is the instruction they got from the Canadian Embassy for all Express entry PR applications. Now I am scared whether this will be reason for rejection :-[
I am a bit worried about NOC as I realized yesterday one person got rejected for it.
Can you please tell me whether the below JD that I have sent to CIC matches NOC 1112
- Preparing financial projections for clients for their project's financial feasibility
- Analyzing historical financial statements of clients
- Drafting market research reports to be incorporated in the clients feasibility studies
- Data analysis using traditional and advanced methods
- Preparing Industry and Economic Outlooks for clients
As now I am worried that it doesn't match NOC 1112 as I am currently a Financial Analyst working in a Financial Advisory firm where market research and financial modeling/projections is my key role. While I have learnt today that market research is under some other NOC.

I really don't think it matters. With the re-opening of yelena's case (the original medical misclassification case) I suspect that CIC has corrected its errors. We had a whole bunch of these mistakes after yelena's, and haven't had any new ones in a while. This is not something that is up to the applicant, so I truly think everyone should relax about it and work hard on the things we CAN influence.

Rejection after 110 days, i can understand your frustration, as most of may applicants are in same timeline of yours. I would suggest to refer employment format from cic website and get the same from your employer and resubmit EOI. I know, its lengthy and hardwork all from start, but this is the only option and i know many who got PR in third attempt. So dont loose hope. Our best wishes with you.
My partner and I had the same category and we got PPR. But the problem was not in the category - or, more accurately, apparently only those with the CORRECT EE category (non-EDE, worker) were rejected, and only a very few of those - most in every category went through just fine.
No, we have a lot of approvals without using consultants on this forum.
Some cancellations were CICs fault not the applicants (Yelenas case for example), so whether or not a consultant was used, it would have been refused.
If there is an error in your application, that you have used a consultant wouldnt make it go through, it would still be rejected.
Lastly, consultants are humans, they read the rules on the CIC website just like you and I can, they have no added knowledge that nobody has, so if you follow the rules, you will get an approved application.
