I just realised that I forgot to write in the travel history one vacation for me and my wife because we don't have any stamps in our passports for that trip (it was a neighbour country). What should I do? Is it a reason for rejection?
Infact i am confused right now. Are u suggesting i proceed with filling my e-APR with the 5 family members and provide the POF. No 1 seems to have answered whether it will be stated as misrepresentation or should i decline the ITA and go back to d pool.
Don't get confused. You have to provide POF for all your family dependents whether accompanying or non accompanying.
I have the case as yours, well in fact one of additional documents that CIC asked me was passport copy of my non accompanying dependents which I read on the CIC site that travel documents for non accompanying dependents are not necessarily but still asked by the CIC officer. That's how inconsistent some of the officers are! Same thing as POF don't be so confident or relaxed that it wouldn'tt be asked for non accompanying dependents.
I can get d funds to cover for all my dependants based on the kind advice i have gotten so far. My challenge now is I hope it wont affect my application that i only stated 22,900CAD in the section where it was asked 'how much will you be bringing to Canada' and i also stated that my family size is 4.
Now that i know i have to include my non-accompanying child, my family size is now 5 and i will be showing proof of 25,930CAD. I hope this disparity in pre-ITA info and post-ITA info wont be questioned as misrepresentation in my application.
Correct. Explain the situation that you traveled to a neighbour country where you didn't need to show your passport (state the reason why you didn't have to show your passport e.g. it was within the EU or so, whatever it was in your case) but for completeness reason you want to list it.
CIC asks for all that information because they check with every security agent of each country in which you traveled in if there is any criminal file or something else.
I have a EU passport and traveled within Europe without showing passport at all. ID was good enough. Nevertheless I listed all trips to Italy, Spain, Denmark etc because all countries needed to be listed in travel history.
Which country did you miss to list? Just curious if it is a "dangerous" country. That might result in extra documents for an extended security check.
