Applicants have successfully applied with PCC's that were issued 2 or 3 years ago as long as they were issued after the last time they lived in that country.

You can raise a CSE now, however I really doubt your app would be rejected at this stage. Since you are saying NN for the second time, may be your R10 check would have been passed. Did you receive any additional doc request at all ? I strongly feel you are safe. May be Raj and other experts can say something on this.
So you already had one additional doc request. It is very likely that your completeness check is done. So just relax and meantime send across the CSE with proof of your FBI PCC request. Good luck.

CIC does not always go by book the way things are written, and that text is often updated. The general consensus based upon experience of almost every one applying for express entry on this forum as well as those outside,
is exactly what's written above. You only need a PC issued AFTER the last time you were in that country, unless it is your current country of residence.
It makes sense too. It is not practical for some one who lived in 10 countries to get Police clearances from there every time they are submitting an application to CIC. Imagine some one who came here on work permit, continued living here, never went back to prior countries of visit and still is asked to get new PCs from all same locations.
While processes do exist for first world countries, at best its not easy to do the same for developing countries. I believe CIC recognizes that very well. Hence they made above rules.
Hi all, please help! I just realized that I also did the blunder of uploading a black and white scan of PCC that I received from Passport office. Although, the passport scans were uploaded in colored and also included the passport page where PPC stamp was marked (don't know if that would make a difference).
I submitted and received my AOR on 5th Dec'16. Will my application get rejected because of this?? Kindly let me know the next steps to correct this as I have a lot at stake. Sad
Transcripts are not mandatory. However a copy of the degree/provisional certificate (along with translation for non-english/french versions) is mandatory. Without this, there have been cases of rejection.

I'm a Nigerian and i've lived there since birth. About 9 months i got a job transfer from Nigeria to Kenya and have been living there ever since. I got an ITA recently and police certificate from Nigeria 3 days ago. The certificate will expire in April, 2017 but I have to make an emergency business trip to Nigeria in 4 days time for about a week. Do i need another Police certificate from Nigeria when i gets back to Kenya from business trip/visit?
I would say you do not need new one, if the one that you have is less than 6 months old:
are currently living there, or received the police certificate before leaving, the police certificate must be issued within six months before you apply.
•have lived there in the past, the police certificate must be issued after you last lived in that country or territory.
In this case the first condition does apply to you (your certificate was issued before you will leave that country after your last visit). But if your Nigerian certificate is fresh you can still use it.
