Just called again CIC to ask them if they have any idea on how long would it take to process my request. They can't answer. So now my question is: should i just reapply for express entry or submit my request of appeal with letter of my employer ?

I would suggest you to do both, create the profile and go for an appeal. whatever happens quicker go for it.
Also, can I ask, how are you appealing. Do you send an email to someone or something, please let me know since I also got a rejection.

Did you claim 600 CRS points? How many points did you have when you got your ITA?

Just trying to figure out why you were refused for seasonal work, which usually happens if you claim 600 points for an LMIA.

yup i did. CRS was 786, refusal letter says i was not able to prove that my job wasn't just seasonal so they deducted the 600 which now they said my CRS is just 186.

Guys, can anyone enlighten me on this:

my spouse WES was dated Aug 2014 - is it not accessible online to CIC?????. Same thing with my WES dated Aug 2014 however I did request a copy from WES (duplicate report package copy) dated April 2016 with ECA report access to CIC and NB PNP... - as a Principal Applicant. I'm worried about my spouse WES....

Has Anyone had a case where their BG check went from not started to in progress five months later?

My progress

AOR Feb 24th
Medical Passed Feb 26th
Background Check went from not started to In Progress July 20th

Ever since then nothing.

Anyone had a similar case to this?
I'm worried that my bg check finally went to in progress so late into the application because this might mean there's a delay or rejection. I hope that's not the case.

Go through the February AOR thread, you'll see that it's very common

Oops, sorry, didn't see that BG turned from not started to in progress. That is not very common, but you'll be able to call CIC and find out in two weeks...

most probably you'll need to upgrade your spouse's report for CIC access.
