My first application for PR was returned as Incomplete on 29-Jan.

How long will CIC take to process the refund?

Is there a way we can track the same?

Hi, sorry to hear that. If you don't mind me asking what was the reason for the rejection? What specific part of the applicant was deemed as 'incomplete'?

It would be great if you could provide an update as some of us who recently submitted (especially me) now feel very nervous every time we check our status.

Looking at the signature it seems like an invalid PCC in India. But the turnaround the second time around is phenomenal.

I believe you have got nominated to SINP and later CIC has rejected your application rite??

If this is so, you still have a chance to re apply.
1) create a new express entry profile
2) Share the new express entry details and get a new nomination from SINP.

12 - 16 weeks is time duration for the refund.

I got rejected because I had a PCC from my permanent address in India whereas I lived across 3 cities in India.

I got it re-issued from PSK and applied back again.

You created a new EE profile, got SINP nomination transferred, got a PCC, got ITA and AOR all in 10 days? That is phenomenal!

SINP has revised nomination for such cases recently in 1-2 days. Seems they treat such cases faster as opposed to assessing fresh cases.

Yeah here it goes:

Application returned: 28-Jan
New EE Profile: 28-Jan
Applied for Nomination transfer: 28-Jan
Nomination transferred: 29-Jan
PCC Appointment: 1-Feb
PCC received: 3-Feb
ITA: 10-Feb
Updated POF: 12-Feb
AOR: 13-Feb

Luckily I had some contacts and got PCC in 3 days, which usually takes around 3 weeks

Does that mean that any position held in ministries (mid level positions) will go under "Government"?

since you were employed there just select employment cos if you select government it might need extract time to clear as in your statutory declaration they will ask if you work with govt . In the other hand, if you have chosen yes is better to write govt. just an opinion expert contribute.
Topic like dis is not suppose to be writing under the subject reason for rejection if u really wants people to check and contribute. create a new topic or look for related one good luck

If you worked for the Government, then you have to choose Government. I don't see how this could even be questioned. The instructions on that are pretty clear in the application.
