Hello everyone
I am canadian and I am sponsoring my husband he is from costa rica. When I check on E-cas it says application recieved and as well we have recieved the medical results but it never said that my application is in process,as In febuary of this year I got a letter through my rep. and as well an email stating for my husband to send his passport, police certificate and the permenant resident fee they never asked why or for what am just really confused why are they asking for those documents does this mean am at the final stage???? how long can this take will I get interviewed ??? Please if anyone can reply greatly appreciate it
Thanks Alex
You will not be interviewed, you are the sponsor. If they are requesting his passport, the RPRF and pcc, then YES, he is at the end of the road and you need to make sure he sends these things to them as soon as possible!
hello charlieD10
yes I sent it to them March 28 2011 because the vo in guatemala sent the letter to my rep feb 2011 so by the time my rep got it it was march 25 and I got the email march 26 so 2 days later we sent everything to the vo, but I havent heard anything from them I emailed them and nothing and I really hope we are at the final stage because other ppl from the same visa office are stating that the guatemala vo has had their passports already for 6 months so its pretty confusing but thanks for the reply
ur case is very similar to mine but i didnt get PPR (hopefully waiting) ...
my e case never said in process ... took it 5 monthes to be APPLICATION RECIVED then 10 days later it said ,, MEDICAL RESULTS HAVE BEEN RECIEVED
and i am so confused as welll dnt know what does it mean ?? are they finalizing my application or they just starting reviwing it ?? or it doesnt mean anything at all??
i am dealing with cairo visa office ...and e case never said IN PROCESS
Hey fox82
Honestly I have no idea , when I check E-cas it says application recieved since like January 2011 but now they asked for my passport so maybe soon it will say decision made but honestly from what I read in this forum you can't count on E-cas oo and another thing it said meds have been recieved like a couple of weeks ago now its gone soo u cant really rely on this ecas system
GOOD LUCK
