Friends, after our 3rd line update we have been called for interview and it went successfully, the visa officer has asked us to drop the passports and said they will send via post to our communication address. I just wanted to know is there any other members from this blog who have submitted passports directly to VO in Delhi Canadian Embassy if yes in how many days they recieved them with what all documents. Just bit curious as in this scenario we will not be getting PPR email as VO has already collected them.

I am afraid Credit cards cannot be considered as PoF.

Ok...What else can we use ? I have sufficient amount in my Savings Account....will bank statements / Travellers' Card do ?

Any other documents required apart from Passport, POF, COPR ??

DD is made after debiting the bank a/c

Here is my understanding:

The DD amount is debited from your account and remains with the bank till DD is claimed.
In case of unclaimed DD, one can present the DD to the bank and ask for cancellation.

I live in Delhi. I am traveling to UK tomm for few months. I will go to Toronto, Canada from UK only for a short landing (7-9 days).

Could you please tell me apart from my Passport & COPR, what all documents shud I carry with me to UK which I wud need for Canada Short Landing.

I think Proof Of Fund can be some CAD (which I will buy in UK only) & my Credit Cards.

ANYTHING ELSE ???

Proof of funds cannot be some CADs, it has to be total required for everyone in your family!

It (should) ideally be in CAD

And u shud be ready with the Goods to Follow (B4A) Form as well..

And a Canadian address to give to the Officer for the PR Card...

Dear brother..,i want you to wait for some more time.. receiving an AOR does not mean that your processing will be started immediately.. give some time to VO.. so that your Number comes.. for sure you will receive your next step soon.. do not worry about it brother.. be happy.

Decision Made on 26 May But not received Passport Request. People are getting PPR on same day of Decision Made.

2 months after medicals
Submitted way back in december 2014.

I have query regarding Goods and luggage-
[size=10pt][size=10pt][size=10pt]1. Can we carry LED TV (32 INCH). its new one and don't wanna scrap it. Do I need to declare it as port of entry? Should I carry its bill and model details aswel in hand?
2. Is there any duty taxes on electronic goods?
3. Can I carry more than allowed bags (2x23 kgs). what would be approximate charges? I heard Jet Airways charges Rs 5000 for another 23 kg bag and you have to pay $75 for connecting flight from port of entry if you have any? clarify plz.
4. Do I need to declare about other electronic stuff like mac book, apple Tv, hard disks and phone?
5. What about Gold Jewellery ? how much can we carry? is there any link for answers?[/size][/size][/size]
