I will be doing my landing process tomorrow. After that I guess it will take up to 2 months to receive my PR Card.
Happens that I will need to do some work travels in mean time. Currently I have a 2 years valid work visa. Will I be able to re-enter Canada using only my work visa? Or once I become a PR it's mandatory to me to use my PR card to re-enter? Thanks.
I've re-entered in Canada quite a few times in the last months (from us and europe) using only my work visa. So that means my work visa will be invalidated, right?
Do you know if this travel document is something that is issued fast? (Like for a 1 week travel)

Once you land your work permit becomes obsolete and can't use it again. To re-enter without a pr card you either apply for a PRTD from abroad or re-enter with ypur CoPR using a private vehicle across a US-Canada land border.
Wouldn't it be possible to delay your landing and just do it after you're done with your travels, assuming there's enough time for the COPR expiry? Use your TRV/work permit before you activate PR...as Doda said, those are invalidated after you become a PR.
I have seen others on here who did the same thing. Boarded the flight as a tourist and then used COPR at POE. However, I wouldnt recommend it, as you always run the risk of having issues.
Much easier to just get the travel document or only land later to make suer there wont be any issues.
