Re-enter Canada from the US in a Extended TRV?

Hi,

I just recieved the extension of my Single-entry TRV.

But it says at the bottom part of the Visitor record "THIS DOES NOT AUTHORIZE RE-ENTRY"

I'm planning to visit NY,USA...

Can i use my extended Canadian TRV to re-enter Canada from the US? OR the extension mean i am authorized to stay within Canada only and once I leave (even if its just the US) the extended TRV will no longer be valid.

Only to stay in Canada, you can only re-enter if your multiple visa is still valid. I guess you only had a single entry visa

But I think Single TRV allows re entry if you are only visiting USA

Safest would be to give them a call or shoot an email.
