RCMP validity

Hi experienced membERS,

I ordered my gcms notes and it said that rcmp finger print required. So i did that and got report sent to my home address on nov 8.

I didn't submitted my pcc with my original application, I have to yet get it.

- should I submit my RCMP first and then later Pcc or i can wait till I get PCC and submit together. I want to know how long is RCMP valid. Can i wait till they request.

I am pretty sure that RCMP is valid for atleast 6 months..

Submit it now. PCC should be within 3 months of issuance when sent to CIC.

I sent it on May 21, 2103

sending an upfront non-required RCMP fingerprint will definitely not speed up the process because CIC will still run a criminal check based on your name and wait for the result from the RCMP before they set it to passed.
i suggest you do not do a fingerprint check unless its requested by cpp-ottawa or you have seen it on your GCMS notes.

just wait for cic to tell you to get rcmp fingerprints check..that process takes max 10 days if you get it done digitaly.

I did not submitted the PCC and RCMP at the time of application sent to CIC.

They requested me now PCC not the RCMP.

But these 2 should not be 3 months old before submitting to CIC.
