Hi members,

I applied my PR in May 2013. When i ordered GCMS notes, it shows "FingerPrint Required".

My application status is "Application Received". I am about to leave canada in a month due to my assignment getting over here.

Can i get RCMP done in advance as it will be easy from here in canada or should i wait till they ask.

Thanks in adv.

Dude it's not even been an hour since you posted!

Yes you can get RCMP done in advance - you can even send it in before they request it

Yes, you can. I did RCMP in advance, expecting that they may request it. It took about 1 week to receive results back in the mail. But if you dont want to lose time there, you can just request that they send them directly to CPP-O. Quite simple really and no significant effort involved. I did it at a local PD station and they just went through the form with me, took the prints, checked the info and sent it off electronically. Took me like 10minutes total.
