I am a CEC applicant, file processed in CPP-O (originally sent to Buffalo). File sent in Sept 2011 and started to be proecessed in Oct 2011.
In Oct 2011, I was asked for medical report and RCMP criminal record check(in canada), and I completed both immiediately in early November.

I took the fingerprints in local police ELECTRONICALLY, and sent c216 form and other personal infomation to RCMP, normally their processing time for an application who take fingerprints electronically is 2-3 bussiness days. But CPP-O has yet to receive the clearance from RCMP, which is quite interesting...

I tried to contact CPP-O and RCMP for this issue, CPP-O replied me twice sayting they will continue processing my application until they receive the clearnce and RCMP NEVER replied to me!!

Is there anyone know a better way to contact RCMP instead of Email?

Thank you all !

I'm not sure what process you used, but if YOU submitted your fingerprints to the RCMP on form C-216C, then it is the same as submitting ink-based fingerprints and will take a long time (~120 days).

Electronic fingerprinting can be done in 72 hours, but the authorized agent submits your prints directly for real-time processing. I believe they send the results directly to CIC.

See for example the service offered by Commissionaires -
