I'm in Toronto, I applied for PR last month, they sent me a request to provide a "RCMP Criminal Record Check", could anyone advice how to make it? and what is the steps, because I'm confused of the process.
the exact message from CIC is as below:
 >RCMP Criminal Record Check: If your residence period in Canada has been six months or longer since the age of 18, provide a certified criminal record check. You must provide a certified RCMP criminal record check based on fingerprints. Please check the CIC website (Obtaining Police Certificates) and refer to RCMP certificates in Canada for details on obtaining a RCMP “Criminal Record Check”.
 Consult http://www.rcmp-grc.gc.ca/cr-cj/fing-empr2-
Thank you everyone,

Thank you for your reply, some one recommend me "commissionaires.ca" because it's near my work, but I called them, they said that I'll make a fingerprint with them, and I'll receive the result by mail as paper, and I should scan and send it to CIC myself, So, is that correct, because you said that they should send it directly to CIC?? I'm little confused

.
