24th May Listening was bit tough especially map questions so expecting low no of people with 8 in listening...

Not sure about that, however, the last exam was on 24th which was a odd working day. In my country the participants in IDP were very low in number. I think the same goes for everywhere else too.

I don't think the score will be 441. It will be 440 (looking at the poll result) with another tie-break in April or May 2018. Soooooo many people waiting on 440, so 439 might not happen this time. But once people with 440 are gone, I am sure it will move quickly to 438, as 439 doesn't seem to be as hot a score as 441, 440, 438 and 435. Slowly but gradually, the cut-off score is moving towards 430s. So don't lose hope guys. We are finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel

On absolute percentage yes, but numbers in the poll are very unconvincing.. very difficult to make the above assumption purely on this.

then what will happen to the massive army of people sitting on 436-438? Do you think they will be cleared at one shot? I am sorry but your calculation is absolutely incorrect

nobody knows exact no of people sitting at each score ...I am taking average 700...till July 4th or 11th only 2 IELTS are coming ...6th n 15th Jun...so they will have to go down 431+

on 6th June score will be either 438/439

and 20th Jun it will be 441+(IELTS result on 6th + on 15th) so 2 results may push to even 445+

July 4th score may 435 with 3500 in all three rounds

Only thing that can save us is the increasing quota to 3750 and 4000 along with a dry spell of two months with less ppl applying with a high score!

I just realized that some people will get their IELTS score before 6 June. I just guess. I hope it still remains 440 or lower.

Many of you guys don't sound very optimistic which I find very sad. I think last years draw pattern made everyone too hopeful regarding their chance and that is why we are now seeing not so hopeful posts from many of you. However, I believe in numbers and they never lie and they help me keep my hopes up.

You know last year in first 6 months 51305 nos of ITAs were issued and only 34738 ITAs in the last 6 months, this year however it will be the opposite or there will be a more balanced approach. This year up until now 31500 ITAs has been issued and there are 7 more months left so that makes me belive that more ITAs will be issued in the later part of the year and that will bring the score down. Now how low it will go I don't know but surely it will not stay in 440 for much longer. The admission target set by the Canada Govt is more now than the last year and will be more in 2019 compared to his year, so surely I don't see any reason for them to slow down. Stop worrying about it too much, stop over thinking and putting pressure on yourself.
