Absolutely right! I expected to score to be a little less but too many people entered the pool even without an IELTS result. I am worried that the score would be the same (440) or 441 in the next draw.
I want a back to back draw or a higher draw size to bring it into 430s.
I dont think 440 would be maintained for a long time. Just imagine from May 16 data we had 1535 people abive 440 added in 1 week. That is 220+ new entrants every day without IELTS result. Next draw i am not very hopeful although i would love to be wrong as i am on 438.
Need urgent help people!! At 441. So should be getting ITA from this draw. However I just checked my application and saw one field is in progress. I don't remember changing anything. What should I do?!?!?!
It is going to help 430s but not significantly. That's the only hope though for people like us in the 430s. Score lowers couple of points each time a back to back draw happens. I see it staying at 440 and increasing back to 441 unless the draw size increases and/or back to back draw happens.
Chances of back to back draws: Low
Chance of draw size increase (to 3750 or 4000): High
Now that 441s are fully cleared, I just took a quick glance at the 2017 draws to find out from when folks are waiting on each CRS between 431-440. This might help us in forecasting how many draws it will take to clear each CRS in coming months (without hiccups or miracles).
440 - Dec 30 2017 (draw held on May 23 2018)
439 - Oct 19 2017 (draw -Nov 15 2017)
436,437,438 - Oct 18 2017 (draw -Oct 18 2017)
433,434,435 - Sep 20 2017 (draw- Sep 20 2017)
431,432 - May 31 2017 (draw - May 31 2017 with cut-off 413)
So, after 440s are hopefully cleared in next draw, may take 1.5 draws for each CRS from 439 till 436 (assuming equal distribution, which may not be correct). 435 till 433 may take 2 draws each to clear off. So, 13 draws to reach the end of 433. Assumption of same draw size 3500 and fortnightly draws obviously.
Below 433, looks a little difficult frankly. I am not sure though what will happen to those waiting for 1 year, will their profiles automatically expire and they have to create new profiles?
You're asking for the worst case scenario? I expected lot less people to enter the pool per day without IELTS result but that didn't happen. So, the people entering per day will be much higher next time keeping the score at 440 or may even increasing a little bit. Hey, you asked for it!!
June 6th draw for 3500:
Worst case scenario: 441 (or 440)
Best case scenario: 439 (tie breaker in 2017)

Is your application old? They changed some question about French a while ago that did this to everyone, but I think that as long as the application was accepted before that, it shouldn't be a problem.

I dont understand the 440. If 185 people in 600-1200, 800+ in 451 to 600 and 900 in 440 to 450 then total is approximately 2900 so crs score.muat be under 431 to 440 range or in other word there are 600 person on 440 score
yes one result will be out on this friday ! i so totally am cursing my luck right now ! I gave three attempts to ielts in the last one i lost CLB 10 by .5 in listening. In all four i got 8 ! Otherwise my score would have been 441 !
