Hello Vensak, I am at 433 and will get a 5 pointer loss in 2 months. Already maxed out on IELTS.oinp seems to be the only option, but even they havent issued any NOI for hcp since feb22.
I am thinking of doing a post bachelor cert in usa, but not much evening or weekend classes available in the vicinity. I see many universities offer online course option that I can persue with my job. Will that be acceptable for ECA or does that have to be 50% at least classroom course?
Best is to try to check wine WES or others. Some do have list of recognised universities. And your ECA is not that much if the learning was distant or not but more about if your diploma will be recognized.
Given that the scoring mechanism for deriving the CRS is constantly evolving, it seems highly unlikely that a year or 2 down the line, the cut-off scores as well as the points currently being allotted for french would remain the same.

Can someone please clarify why I have not received any emails from CIC although I already filled out the box "I would like to receive monthly updates about my application" in my EE profile. Is it regular?
miracle? Last CRS cutoff was 446. The only time there was a massive spike in CRS was the draw before this and now in this draw, it dropped decent as well. What you are hoping for is around the corner IMHO.

There will still be additional points for second language (otherwise that would be highly unfair). In addition some provinces might have PNP with french preferences (Ontario, New Brunswick, Quebec...).
So yes it is better than doing nothing.

Agree with this. Also learning a new language can never hurt. Especially when hunting for a job in IT Sector. If you have projects based on France or Canada or other French speaking areas, that could give you a leg up.
