Nothing can be expected from CIC. It seems like they don't want to increase the cut-off or they don't want to go CRS below 440. I hope I would be wrong
I dnt think there would be back to back draws. CIC seems to be sticking at 2750 and 2 week draws as a golden rule now. They dnt want to eat in PNP like onip wants 400+ candidates and money channel. Score doesnt seem would go down below 435 in future. If they were desperate about quotas, then they would have rolled-out 3rd Jan draw or given more invites in this draw, either of which didnt happen.
I think having a balanced draw system is what they are aiming for to a bite what they can chew rather than focusing on quotas and acting desperate.
2750 wouldn’t be so bad if they would introduce program specific draws like those with CEC other than PNP and FST draws, don’t you think? That would be a game changer
Regular EE, but I intend to increase my score with TEF in a few months.
We can expect the scores to drop, but at the same time we have to do whatever it takes to increase our chances, waiting forever won't lead us anywhere.
Score remained the same is not as good a news as it looks cause there were no IELTS exam results publishing from 30th Dec to 10th of Dec & also ECA was slow due to the break. However, the bad news is more of a shocker for most of us and nevertheless the main concern from hereon
I have not created EE profile yet but I do have ECA and IELTS already. My score using the CRS calculator is 406. Therefore, I am kind of monitoring the OINP (HCP) and hoping they issue NOI 400+, and then I would create right away my profile. Does strategy make sense in your opinion?
Along with that, I am planning to retake the IELTS and achieve CLB9 (currently 8) to boost my score up to (469).
