Let's consider my case.
I create EE profile on June 15 and received NOI on the very next day.
Now I have a CRS of 406 and NOI from NOI in my hands.
In my case, I assumed CRS may come down to 400 considering their trend of 413's in May.
I was waiting for CRS to come down till July mid week, after which I decided to take PNP route.
I was arranging documents and was about to register for submission. Alas, devil played it's hand. Just when I was about to register I got the shattering news that OINP hold the intake of new application.
Here I missed my chance.
Then I played the waiting game until Nov2, when they re-opened the stream.
Remember, since I already have the NOI, it carried validity until dec16 (6month).
This time, i took the opportunity and submitted the application at the earliest possible time and received my nomination today.
What's the take away from my case?
Choosing PNP route is at your own risk. While you wait you have to keep in mind
- Will my CRS score have any chance in receiving direct ITA?
- When's the possible time for the stream to close?
- How long can I play waiting game?
You need to have answers for those and play your cards right.
