It seems 2800 is the optimum number they have derived based on application processing timeline in order to avoid piling up of backlogs. Doing that would also have an additional benefit in that the draw would pick the cream later of the pool while not bringing the cut off down drastically.
Not to sound pessimistic here but I don't see any other reason for not increasing the number of ITAs.
But there is a discrepancy here. How did the person with 423 not get an ITA but the one with 422 did, if the tie breaker rule applies only to the lowest cut off score? Thanks!
Thank you, but as per the CIC's website that explains the tie breaker rule, I am asking this question:
How did the person with 423 not get an ITA but the one with 422 did, if the tie breaker rule applies only to the lowest cut off score? Thanks!
Congrats to everyone who got through. CRS 441 but haven't gotten the email yet
Thanks to the usual posters who kept us hopeful. I pray that we all get to Canada eventually.
Special congrats to Pessacanada. One of your recent posts was so inspiring where you explained your road to 441. It really was a lesson in perseverance and it helped to lift my spirits after the last draw.
