i also have inkling that CIC might surprise us & give a draw tdy ....If quota for 2018 is going to be announced by 31st Oct then there is a strong chance that they , might need some time to sort things out with regards to no of ITA's etc so a draw on 1st Nov seems unlikely which makes me believe that we might get a draw today to offset the 1st Nov draw...If indeed the draw happens today then my prediction is for a score of 431/432

Don't get angry bro. There is no surety in the world of CIC DRAWS. Even on the obvious draw day things can go south and draw get postponed.

My school is downtown. We checked out buildings near public transport, and were happy with what we found. We were also surprised to see the covered and underground walking PATH that will be very helpful when the weather is bad.

I have strong feeling that there will be a draw today to mark the end of this year's quota. secondly, there was also some kind of maintenance held yesterday in the cic website.

If they wanted to keep the score above 425-430, why whould they have huge draws in april may and let the CRS go to 413. In my opinion, the draw size is based on 2 things only.

1. Annual quota of ITAs
2. Processing capacity to finish within 6 months of applying.

The reason why they had high draw size in the beginning of the year was probably because of the above mentioned factors. We could hopefully see another burst of ITAs given that the earlier ITAs must be processed by now.

As far as PNP is concerned OINP can always revise their 400 CRS benchmark any time without notice.

Yes, November 1st is the "deadline", because on that day Mr. Ahmed ( Minister of Immigration) has to address the House of Commons with all the plan details.

One question , my passport is about to expire in an year Oct-2018.
I am currently awaiting ITA, as what point can i apply for a new passport, so that it doesn't affect the EE process ?

I think its best to renew asap. IRCC may ask you to renew the passport during your application process which may cause a delay.

How about today 1 big draw, 11k ITAs? Just to take everyone above 400, how would that be? I’m stretching it now, I know!
