Thanks to a lovely border agent in Toronto, all of the issues regarding the work permit and my husband's renewed passport are solved. Trying to get an answer from the LA office that processes them was a wasted month, and didn't ever answer the question.

Countdown to school: 77 days.

It's not as good as an ITA, but a year from now, it will be worth 30 more points.

How much would ur score change if u get higher in IELTS? If you could gain 3-4 more points, i would say go for it - the difference might translate to 3-4 months less wait.

Hey guys 433 is a good score..i am at 417..if 433 is worried then 417 has to be super worried. 433 is sure in the next two draws. 417 i do not know

Yes, very possible to get ITA at 433 in Nov. It will be positive ,if number of ITAs start to rise.

Morning everyone! We finally bit the bullet. My wife and I recently took our IELTS and the points will be updated before the next draw. I'm hoping for atleast a 12 point jump! taking us to 444 . All the best everyone.... To all the naysayers, I am confident the points will drop to below 400 this year. But if you have any chance to improve your score please do not wait! Good luck

I have couple of questions-

1. I have read that it is mandatory to have any friend / relative in Manitoba for applying to MPNP. I do not have any such in Manitoba, can I still apply for PNP?

2. Can someone share job and responsibilities for 2147 Computer Engineers except software engineers. I have heard it is a licensed occupation. Does it apply to all provinces?
