I have been on ROH for some years now but never posted.
I would like some advice please.
I am currently at 429. For my education I am completing a degree and I will get Graduation confirmation in January. On my application should I input this information and state I will complete in December? I completed 1 of 2 years. My lawyer is saying no I should input it when I get the letter.
I tried on my own once and my score went up to 447 but I was a bit concern about my lawyer.

Like @parth115 has said...you can't claim points unless you have ECA done for it and it really is equivalent to the degree you are claiming points for in comparison with Canadian standards...
Wait until graduation... get ECA done for your new degree.. only tthen claim points for it..

Standing at 428 I was also planning for retaking ielts
With clb 10 in listening and reading and clb 9 in speaking and writing I can only increase max 6 points but I'm afraid if I miss out in any other module it will be a waste of time and money...
Patiently waiting for Nov draws. hopefully bigger draws or back to back draws can be fruitful.
Otherwise as I loose 5 points in Jan will have to retake ielts for icreasing the lost points.
I hope 423 in Jan has better chance in the draws
Was checking 2016 Nov-dec draws as well as early 2017 draws ...the draw size seemed to increase ..so hoping the same to happen
CIC common back to back draws in nov or bigger draw size.....

It is confirmed just to get the letter which they said won’t be given until January. When I went online there is the opportunity to indicate when you will complete the degree (Canadian) and I received points for that but now when I told my lawyer they said no wait until January.
Ok, thanks. Calculator clearly states that points are granted separately for each factor, so if anyone else is wondering your weakness will not take you down!
i'm at 428 and will be falling to 423 next month, keeping my fingers crossed.
What are the documents i need if i ever get an ITA - do i need experience verification letters from all employers? Or will just the most recent one be enough (have been at this company for 5 years, so it should be enough to get me all the points i need)
