today is my birthday and kind of not very happy birthday I will lose 5 points, i was sitting on 431 now it would be 426

Also, be glad you guys are still in the 420s and only lost 5 points. Those of us who are in our 40s lose 11 points per birthday.

Thank you so much Manoj... I believe the EB bill/phone bill/bank statement should reflect the Canadian address? I guess if that's the case, then I am at least 6-8 months away to claim those 15 points :-( will lose 5 points in December as I woulld get older by then too :-(

Yes, you need to prove that they are staying there. So you would need current bills.

Thank you. I do think there are many indications that OINP should reopen later this year. Ontario had planned all along to pause and reopen the streams to allow people to apply throughout the year, rather than letting all available spots get taken by May which happened in 2016. There were also numerous system issues in July, so they probably needed to reduce the load on their servers and perform system maintenance/upgrades (which they have a few times since July 25). As of August 8, there were still 1994 nominations available for the year, so hopefully they still need more HCP applications to fill the quota. But there were also many indications that I should have gotten at least one of these 2 jobs that I came close to getting, so I am feeling rather down. Unfortunately it was only in that last week of June that Ontario issued NOIs to ICT applicants with scores below 400, which was probably responsible for the surge in applications. It's anyone's guess when/whether they will do that again, especially since they seem to be more focused on attracting agricultural and construction workers these days.

I am not sure about their focus on agricultural or construction workers but i believe they will continue to concentrate on ICT occupations for the rest of the year. Let's hope for the best

Yeah I have a strong feeling that the real initiative is to convert certain cities into an IT hub ie Vancouver and Toronto. Given the political climate in the US more so towards skilled foreigners in the IT space, this is the opportune time to create a "Silicon Valley" city in Canada. If this momentum remains consistent, there is a likely chance that more companies will HQ in Canada. I mean honestly..the space is there lol.

Guys sorry for offtopic discussion but what is the cap for fsw via express entry this year and how do we know how many people have received pr under this category and is it necessary to reach the cap limit for CIC every year under this category?

Just a beginner trying to understand how things work.
