I got it in 2 hrs.

Probably because you might have renewed your passport or might have got a PCC in the last few months, In my case also PO checked whether this was the case. As my passport was few years old, they told me that i need a police verification

Man CIC is really playing games with us these days. No fixed time of draws, waiting till the end of day to do draws, selecting only 3200 people instead of 3800+, 4 weeks gap between draws. It surely is a hard time to be an EE candidate
