Raj just go for it, there is no harm in trying, even if another $300 can give 5 - 10 Point in addition to what you already have then you will get the ITA sooner rather than waiting for it for longer.

Also I'm thinking about registering for another celpip test (trying to max it). But if I get the ITA on the next draw, it will be a waste of money. Any suggestions?

Whatever date you receive the ITA, your profile will freeze at that CRS. So you should be fine if you receive an ITA on the 8th.

I've been in this forum since past few weeks, but this is my first post. I enjoyed reading posts in all ray of hope threads.
I am currently sitting at 450 because my wife has not taken ielts yet. Today was the third draw since i was in pool, but unfortunately no result. I took TEF exam a few days ago to boost my score by 6 (french as second language). But unlike ielts, it seems it takes about two months to have the results. So I won't have its score for next draw. I really worry , that would be really a catastrophe if it reach 451 next draw and shoot up after my french score

You appeared for CELPIP? How is it as compared to IELTS?

Also, How did you prepare for it, You purchased a book or just online samples?

Please share your experience as I am planning to go for it as well.

Should I accept ITA? I wouldn't be submitting my application until March/April anyway by the time I get the required documents in order,

Any guidance is greatly appreciated,

You have 90 days to accept the ITA and to submit all the docs, Wait until the 1st of Feb 2017 and then accept the ITA.

I don't think the CRS scores would shoot up. After today's draw, there should be no candidates in the pool with CRS scores over 452. Unless 3000+ new candidates enter the pool between today and the next draw with scores over 452, the required points are only going to fall.
