The ITA's got lower in 2016 because of paper appication backlog. Now as they have cleared a significant amount of these in 2016 and with the present target of economic immigration being 71000 without PNPs it is expected that the draws will be above 2500 considering 2 draws per month to fill in this quota.
Yeah, I hear ya! It is nervewrecking. I talked to this one girl from Russia that entered EE with 451 CRS and got ITA the day after haha! It was in 2015.
I also read today a great story on Fb:
"It's a miracle! Got the ITA in the 19th Oct draw, submitted all the documents on 26th of Nov, received the approval letter requesting for passport on 22nd of December (in less than a month), submitted my passport on 26th Dec, received the visa and COPR day before yesterday - 4th of Jan! The entire process took less than 6 weeks Blessed beyond belief! Thank you Lord!"
So there's always a place for a miracle and the unexpected, and when you wait this long imagine the outcome <3 Everything pays back!
Thank you for posting this inspirational story! +1 to you! By the way, I am also a girl from Russia and also entered EE with 451 points. But have been waiting since June 2016. Now increased to 459 and hoping to get an ITA in the next 2-3 months.

No, 8 points for my husband's education. He did ECA. My IELTS is almost maximum, short of 3 points. I don't know yet whether to re-take it to reach the maximum.

I'm sitting at 441 and waiting for spouse eca and Ielts. I feel irritated that Wes is taking forever to move things. It's in document received state for more than one week. I'm likely to miss next draw for sure, but I really don't want to miss the draw after. Spouse Ielts results would be out on Jan 20 and trf might come the week next. Hoping the evaluation ends real quick.
I wouldn't feel this bad if the scores remained high, but I just don't want to miss a potential chance. My score could be between 463-469 depending upon spouse Ielts scores. I already feel bad that I missed a chance in last draw, considering the fact that i could have got invite if spouse score happen to be clb 9.
I also feel I should have got .5 more in listening so that I would have got those extra 3 points. Extra 3 points mean potential to touch 470, and 470 has much ita assurance than 460s. But at the same time, I also feel lucky that I didn't lose 0.5 in listening that would have pushed my band to clb8, and lose a lot of points.
Just venting out frustrations as its the ray of hope thread!
