yes, i think people who are on US work/student visa with dreams of getting a green card might think of immigrating to Canada, if the Trump government makes it difficult for them.
Exactly guys you might think that this is over rated but will see in few weeks what will happen,i know for anyone to join the pool will take sometime but it it wont be long as some might think
If it makes anyone feel better I was able to log in to GcKey no problem a few times today...
It is likely the pool will swell with a few more people taking interest, but also a lot of applicants from Europe might now not bother as USA is a bit too close for comfort.

Thank god atleast now people will stop looking other countries down! The trump effect will create the panic attack in them lol. Everyone around me have been insulting me from the moment I returned to home country after my pgwp expiry. Many quarrels, big big fights, lot of disappointment , I literally ran away from my hometown and started working in other city alone. This afternoon I can feel the pain of the people whose children are in US out for studying and working! Tit for Tat
Now I just hope canada should recognize the international students and also the eligible candidates!
Lots of US people just say in a heat of a moment that they will immigrate to canada they think its pretty easy but when they understand the system they will say we are good in US.

no, unless you try for PNP
what i would suggest is write IELTS again, if you have bachelors degree atleast, 3 yrs working experience and are under 30 (i'm assuming) then you can easily go well over 400...
your scores individually should be L8, RWS - 777

Can you give me more clarity on PNP? I asked my consultancy they asked me to write IELTS again. I have 6+ years work experience and will turn 30 in January. Will my age affect my scores after January'17?
I am thinking to wait till december because I have no choice as the next IELTS is in January. If my selection does not happen in december then I will have 2017 to try again. My profile expires in Oct'17.
