If more than one candidate has the lowest score, the cut-off is based on the date and time they submitted their Express Entry profiles.

But why do such a massive bulk draw? They could have continued with CEC only applications for the next few months, issuing a smaller number of invitations each time. They have created a massive workload in one go. I don't understand the logic.

I think it's time to drop the "Express" from Express Entry Immigration. Good luck to us all. We should get our PRs in a few years.

OMG. Such a massive draw. Looks they invited every CEC candidates in this draw. Wish it should not be a glitch so it helps thousands of candidates who are inside Canada. Also from next draws it will be FSW's.

There is no point to process FSW now. They can’t travel to Canada and very likely the travel ban will be there the whole 2021.
It is pointless to get COPR for FSW-it just gets expired and then you need to be processed again with extensions etc.

I'm FSW. I'm 2 hours by car from the border and about to get vaccinated. How is this fair in any possible way?

I think they will take every cec from now on. That would still be below the total quota.

How can they process these many applications at once? They still have limited capacity because of COVID restrictions.

Well, it's good news but I'm still in shock seeing cut off score and number of invitations. If there wil be no invite for me today, then I'm screwed. Future is even more unpredicatable now.
