Consider ITA as a ventilator during these tough times where you just hoarded it while not having any medical need for it. You could have saved a COVID-19 patient....
we are smart enough to apply at our own in EE selecting in-demand NOCs and all that but once ITA is received, many (not all) tend to claim it as an honest mistake!
What is your expectation for the next draw if it is for all ? I think it will be 465 if 4000 invite was issued. What do you think? Please try to share positive reply.
Below is the justification in my opinion
As per 13 March, there was
601-1200
448
501-600
254
491-500
197
481-490
421
471-480
1,047
461-470
9,437
Total=
11804
After the conducted draws
Draw 18 March
-668
Draw 23 March
-3,232
Remaining
7904
Draw of Alberta in 24- 600 points
100
People created profiles(estimated as less exams are conducted)
1000
Pool size between 461 and 1200
9004
The pool size will be similar to draw 128 (9525 with 451 and above score) where 3600 were invited and score was 464

Thank you for your analysis, however, your estimate for the number of the new profiles is somewhat conservative. From 13th of March till 8th of April (assuming it is not in on the 1st of April) are about 25 days, this would bring at least 2500 new applicants (under normal conditions 300 new applicants with a score of 460+ join the pool each day). I guess the cutoff score would be 467-470

Yes i have. And i am post-AOR now. It's possible to get CLB 7 or 8 but requires serious hardwork and consistency. Learnt from scratch for 6months, wrote TEF by end of the 7th month. 1st April 2019 to 26th October 2019

I’m also interested in learning French to boost my CRS. Do you mind sharing your native language and how many daily hours you’ve taken for such intensive study? Thanks a lot!

Actually, it all depends on your native language. Since I'm a portuguese speaker, and French and Portuguese shares a bunch of similar words, I was able to achieve CLB8 levels on both CO/CE with barely 50 days of preparation. Pretty sure I could have achieved CLB9 on CO if it wasn't for the fact I didn't realize I could adjust my headphone volume levels (I ended up listening the whole test at the lowest possible level).
Now, achieving CLB7 on EE/EO is a whole different story. I honestly believe it requires, AT LEAST, 6 months of intense (3-4 hours/day) study.
Decline the ITA if your score is high enough and you don't feel comfortable with an LOE. Thanks to people like you declining ITA's, maybe we will see another 4500 or even 5000 invite draw in the future.
Don't listen to all these people who keep saying no chance always
There is definitely a chance.
Now almost no ECA or IELTS happening. So literally no dudes with high score can logically enter the pool until the next 45 days.
Hence, you can receive ITA in one or two draws and importantly don't be disheartened if people give you negative answers. Simply ignore their comments
You are making it, mark my words
BTW, I'm in 467 with an absolute ray of hope
Is there a cut off time to enter the pool or update my profile for each draw? I mean, say if the draw happens right now, and I just updated my profile to get a new scores, Thanks.
