To those who believe that the pool is going to get empty soon. There's over 140,000 applicants and Canada's this year target is around 90,000 for EE. Do you really think it's gunna get empty even if IRCC achieve their targets. I don't think so. Unless I am missing out on something here
I'm no judge nor do I know the exact thoughts of the person who said the pool will be emptied, while I agree with you the number of applicants far outweighs canada's planned intakes, I believe it was said in the context that the pool will be emptied above 460~465 at the minimum.
On a side note, it's true IELTS isn't suspended everywhere for prolonged time. I'm booking mine 6th-7th of April.
I have a question if anybody has a clue about that then please let me know. My husband got his degree evaluated in June last year from WES. Now we want to get his diploma evaluated, I want to know that will we get it evaluated under the same reference number that was generated earlier or do we need to apply again for a new reference number and pay the fees again?

You will receive a new reference number. You will choose to upgrade your credential by adding a new credential, then you will pay the fees, finally, you will be given a new reference number for you to send your documents with. Best of luck
Relax people, the immigration department probably doesn't have enough manpower to handle too many applications at a time, thus they only invited those who had PNP for now, until businesses start resuming, then they will increase the number of invitees again. This may even cause a dip in CSR, who knows.
My IELTS test has been delayed because of local restriction laws. I was very happy that I was about to enter the next draw because with my expected results I would have between 468 and 472 points. Not sure what to expect after COVID situation get sorted.
Do you guys think cut off score will increase because a lot of people like me will join the pool together or it will stay the same/decrease?

No problem. You have a good chance with 472, but it is not looking bright for 468s because of the saturation in that range (461-470). Too many people achieve that score and that’s the reason why the score is not dropping below it. I wish you the best.
i just saw that. i wont question their assumptions as they're merely "assumptions"
however upon checking the figures in each bracket, if next draw is above 3,000 it will for sure touch 468-469 at least.
