With the election approaching, will there be substantive changes in the EE system? I am at 456 and looking to study in Canada next year to boost my education and also crs score. In the meantime, am worried that in case there are changes in the EE system due to conversative win and there are no extra points for studying in Canada. Senior members, please share your views.

Am not an expert but have read that if U add spouse post ITA your scores will be recalculated and it falls beliw he CRS cut-off, you will not meet eligibility. So I think U really need to consider some key factors...
1. How long till ur spouse ECA is out? If it’s a month or two or even less why not wait, if U know it will automatically lead to ITA?
2. What if your file is considered before the ECA arrive? What will be ur justification for spouse not accompanying?
3. If your file is considered as spouse not accompanying and ECA arrives a day later U will not be able to add your spouse to Ur application because you have given a reason why she is not accompanying you and I am sure the reason won’t be “due to ECA not available”
My view- if U are not loosing points and your wife’s ECA will come in a month or even two and U are certain it will lead ITA then relax and be patient, don’t complicate your file.
Caveat- am no expert let the more experienced ones in the house weigh in... best of luck to Us all.
Your wife's ECA score will not be taken into account while they recalculate your scores after adding spouse post ITA. It is clearly mentioned on their website that your scores would be recalculated based on the standing you had till the day of your ITA so if your wife's ECA would be dated post ITA, it won't be considered.
In this case, it's better to wait then having your secured ITA getting rejected while they recalculate the scores.
Thank you.
I asked IRCC and they said as long as I'm changing to accompanying before E-Apr and my recalculated scores are higher than draw, it doesn't matter if the date on spouse ECA was later than ITA date.
Maybe same rules like taking Ielts post-ITA after test results expire.
Please can you help me with the link you mentioned? It could really help me in making decisions. Thank you

Very less chances for something like that to happen. Nobody wants to stop legal immigration. At least not yet. Maybe 10 years down the line after Canada has attained sufficient immigrants / population.
Secondly my 2 cents - Pursue your Masters in a field you like or care about and to learn. Not for immigration purposes. The end result will happen automatically if your pursuit is genuine.
But it seems that oinp has slowed down or there are too many nominations issued. Because people are now waiting for over a month in the submitted stage...

Agreed. Conservative platform is to stress on economic immigration, which might even bring good news to FSW, at least not too bad if Conservative Party get majority.
Well it’s going to happen next week Monday innit? As much as I wish for the liberals to win because we already know their views and stand on immigration (considering their target), May the best party that will favor Us all win
Guess what the numbers got updated for Nominations 6033 As of 10th October 2019. At least now we know last draw definitely had 600-800 OINP Candidates. It also tells us that OINP still has 900 more nominations in its Bag to issue. Which suggest that as of today majority candidates left are from 15 August draw and may be a few from 01 August. This may be a good sign for November onwards. Ontario numbers will decline for PNP.
OINP running out of gas is good news for general EE FSW candidates but is terrible for folks who received an NOI and are waiting for a nomination. More so for HCP stream. There are only 600 nominations left in this category.
A lot of people from Aug 1 are yet to receive nominations (per the tracker). These should go through in the 600 that are remaining.
Hi Guys, for those waiting for ITA and have experience in IT, please check these opportunities with Manitoba. With a job offer through this stream, you will able to immigrate to Canada with a work permit and apply for PR in Canada. Check this website if interested https://www.economicdevelopmentwinnipeg.com/talent-mission. Also here is the link of a YouTube channel where the YouTuber explains the program:
Hi guys,
I am working in a university as a computer science lecturer. I have some lecturing duties, but most of my work is to administer a Students Information System. My employer is OK with giving my an experience certificate as a lecturer or as system administrator. I had already created my account in EE as a lecturer. Now, I'm thinking of changing my work experience in the EE to a system administrator. Before proceeding, I want to make sure that changing my profession in the EE will not be a reason for rejecting my application. Thank you in advance for your answers.
