The draw will happen whenever IRCC wills it to happen regardless of what we say here (no matter how delusional or logical). Many of us will be disappointed for sure. I'm just here to spread out some positivity man and prayers that it will indeed happen today and if so, for the majority to get invited.
Question for seniors in the group. I am confused (rather heartbroken to some extent) as to why IRCC did not conduct any draws this month. CRS score 438 since 31/1 and bound to loose 5 points late march. Was hoping for close draw(s) in feb. Coming back to the point ,
1. what could be the reason of back to back draws in Jan. Were they held to counter OINP's invites ?
2. What would folks who got OINP as well as ITA do, decline OINP ?
3. If majority decline OINP, will Ontario send out invites to folks with score around 438 and more ?
Trying to answer 2 and 3, as I am one of those who got OINP invite @439 on 14th Jan and then direct ITA on 30th Jan. IMO, at least 80-90% of the 1500 odd people (CRS 439-448) who got OINP invite under HCP stream on 14th Jan will let it expire by 28th Feb deadline, as unfortunately there's no option to "decline" an OINP invite like ITA. Remaining 10-20% may have already submitted their OINP application before getting direct ITA, even some of them may withdraw their application. So, OINP will realize that they've received only about 10-15% application out of 1500 invites they sent by end of February. So, expect significant OINP invites in March. If they're smart and learnt their lesson, they'll send invite to profiles only below 440
Why do you say that? There is till time and there is no specific time at which CIC releases a draw score. You can see a trend in the time but there isn't just one time at which they mention the cut of score. Be patient. Hopefully there will be a draw today.
