Guys i have submitted my degree page+ielts+wes... Now some are saying that transcripts are a must while others diagree...now i am getting scared by the minute ..do anyone have any idea about it?

There is no right answer to this, some people upload it and some people don't. If it helps to calm some nerves, you can always raise a CSE and attach the transcripts with the same.

Don’t worry. It’s fine.

And I’m damn sure as I know many who have got PPR without uploading transcripts. Also what’s the point of uploading transcripts when we have ECA.

Was in the same boat but my husband transferred the funds gradually over 8-9 months so in the end i have attached a noc signed by my husband that i can use the money at my discretion. I think this should be fine

Do not worry it is Normal thing. Consider my case i went passport office on 21st dec and policeman came home today to verify. These things take time and no hard and fast rule about specific time limit.

We applied December 19 at Sai Arcade Bengaluru. Got it today morning. We were called to the station once. But the cop is yet to visit. We called them multiple times to visit all these days. But now we have PCC, so .. I don't care.

For FSW there is a 100 point factor and you need a minimum score there for qualifying for FSW. This is different from CRS score.
Usually if you have ITA, this would automatically be fulfilled. But when people make changes to already transmitted profiles then there this can change.
Check for that FSW score / eligibility.

You are not required to upload your transcripts. Transcripts are meant for evaluators. They are not meant for us to see technically.
You do need to upload original marksheets whether or not you have claimed points based on ECA or not.

I hope getting all docs scanned by a HP scanner should be fine

Use a proper scanner. HP scanner is perfect. Advice to others: Do not use phone based cam scanners. Please respect the process. It is not like applying for a credit card.

1. Yes, take it from a professional photographer. The dimensions given as per CIC are pretty normal so you shouldn't have any issues. Just take a usb with you or ask him to email the photos to you once you are done.
2. The scanned documents should be clearly scanned and open in adobe acrobat reader. So when you do it from camscanner, make sure the watermark doesn't cover any part of the document. I would still advice get access to a normal scanner as the results are much better than camscanner.
3. If you have a reference letter is the required format as per CIC, you do not need anything else to attached with it. Other things are attached if your reference letter has any lacking.
4. This is up to you. You can attach it in each section regarding that section or you can make it under client information. Just make sure it is short and not too much information as they might ignore or miss the actual point you are trying to make.

Hello Everyone,

I have applied for PCC on 20th December in Bangalore Passport Seva Kendra. Since my new passport was approved to me without police verification, the office told me to go through police verification for PCC. On 22nd Dec, police verification is done and the policeman told me that he submitted my documents (online) on 24th Dec. But till now, I have not got intimation from Passport Seva about my police clearance.

Any idea, how long this process takes? Any timelines for this whole process?

I got it today from Sai Arcade centre. We applied on 19th.

Yes, I got the bank letter from ICICI bank as per format specified by CIC. The thing is that I prepared the letter myself and went to the bank. They verified the details in the letter with my accounts and took print in letterhead and stamped it.

That is the correct way. Banks don't have CIC formats. They are just required to verify.
